Your scars are just the mark of where a seed was planted. And when it is ready, when you’ve had time to process and heal, you will have fruit to share with someone who’s going through the same struggle.
I’ve shared hard things in my life with others. I’ve been asked with wonder how I am able to find joy in my struggles. It’s rooted in trust in God’s goodness and an understanding of how those trials have grown me for the better. But what I hold on to most dearly is the hope of walking alongside someone who thought they walked alone. It’s an unexplainable joy to know my struggle has found purpose in helping another person heal.
All the pain I’ve endured from an experience is worth it when it helps another person through their pain. It takes a lot of care, but compassion is the sweetest of fruits to me.
