Seriously?
What are you doing?
We’ve had a few people ask what are we doing in Africa.
I can honestly answer nothing.
But God, He’s doing big things!
…
All we and our team are doing is saying yes.
Office work and administration on a time crunch for students to enroll in classes?
Yes
Long manual labor days for the guys?
Yes
We need to set up for our parents coming to see all of the racers?
Yes
Stand in line at the South Africa/Zimbabwe border for 11 hours and miss our next bus?
Yes
Share the love of Jesus to all we come in contact with at the border?
Yes
…
But God, He’s doing big things!!!
…
We’ve been more obedient the last 3 months than the entire Race so far.
When He tells us to share – we share
When He tells us to listen – we listen
We’ve been listening to the Holy Spirit in what to share and how we share it.
This month our ministry is evangelism in different capacities. We have been able to work at a couple of assisted living homes, put on some VBS style days with orphans, discipline a small group of youth, and do door to door evangelism/home visits.
God is doing some big things here in Zimbabwe. In the 2 weeks we’ve been here, we’ve personally seen 210 people come to know Christ. We’ve seen God move in miraculous ways both at home in the States and in Zimbabwe. Between the outreach of the 8 people on our team in only 7 days, y’all raised over $1,100. That’s insane! We were able to purchase 192 bibles in English and Shona (their native language) and hand them out to new believers and Christ followers who didn’t have a Bible.
The other 5 teams in our squad are seeing a huge revival happen in their area of ZIM as well. They’ve seen over 100 come to know the Lord these past couple of weeks and have been able to give out quite a few Bibles as well.
