Hey guys! We are really enjoying out time here in Alba Iula, Romania. Although it’s been difficult and full of adjustments to be living with our entire squad and leadership team this month (45 of us under one roof!), it’s been beautiful to see the love and growth among everyone. As a squad, we are working with two organizations, Hope Church Romania and PIEI Romania. Both of these ministries have such large hearts for the people of Romania and the Balkans, and they share it daily in practical ways. One of the projects that they are currently working with is Harmony Church here in Alba Iula, and our team has been assigned there. Our time with them is spent in an after school center with kids of all ages as well as holding English classes in the evenings. It has been a lot of fun so far, but we’ve all realized how incredibly difficult the English language truly is!
While we are dedicated to serving Harmony Church, there are a couple of projects that we are doing as an entire squad. One of the tasks we’re undertaking is to not only participate in building relationships within the community and do street evangelism, but also to assist PIEI and Hope Church with evangelism tools to utilize long after we’re gone. One creative way to make connections and evangelize is to have printed copies of personal testimonies to distribute. However, a key to making this effective is to have a plethora of testimonies so that communities aren’t flooded with the same stories. So, as we promised to you or friends, families, and supporters, we want to include you in this journey with us this year. If you’d like the opportunity to personally be involved in ministry here all the way in Romania, please consider sending us a short testimony. It doesn’t have to be your whole story, but you could share a time in your life where the Lord showed up in a big way and made a difference to you.
