Meaningless & Purposeless.
What is the purpose of your life? Why were you brought to this earthly life? Why God took the time to make you? These are questions that all human being ask themselves and puzzles them. Maybe you might know the answer or perhaps you may not know the answer in which is fine too.
Many of you claim to think you know. Only to have an event in life change the whole perspective and rock you psychologically and spiritually. You make the mistake to cling to your “purpose” and losing your sight of God in the process, but that’s another blog to write.
So what I want to share with you today? What I want to share with you is very simple and truthful therefore powerful. I’m not writing you about what or why is that you are here (that’s for God to reveal to you and for you to find out!). What God wants you to know and understand is that YOU DO have a purpose in life.
There’s not such a thing as a purposeless life. There’s not such a thing as a meaningless life. There’s not such a thing as an “mistake” child. And all of you who been labeled or has labeled yourselves as “mistake” “unplanned” “error” baby. Your earthly biological parents might have not planned you but God did planned you. Your biological parents might claim you a mistake, but in the eyes of your heavenly Father you are not a mistake. He makes no mistakes and He made you for a purpose. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
This month in beautiful Malaysia the men of A-Squad have the honor to meet and work with such a lovely daughter of God who understand this very much.
Ladies and gentlemen is a pleasure and an honor to present to you Aunty Saw Gaik!
She is the one responsible for Siloam House, a place for mental disabled adults, to start in the city of Karak. She houses people with Down Syndrome, Autistic, Cerebral Palsy, Williams Syndrome, and other types of mental disability. To her they all family and equal house members of the Siloam House that also is a fruit farm that harvest lemons, mangosteen, and Roselle’s flowers. More importantly to her they all important to God and they all were created by God for a purpose even the one who seems the most unable.
Aunty Saw Gaik states that the best way to live the life God intended for you is not by focusing on you disabilities or limitations but rather on your capabilities. By taking on the duties of the farm the house members put up the statement into action. Through loving care and proper guidance the house members have learnt how to bring their individual capabilities to take care of the farm and work all collectively as a family. They take care of planting plants, watering the plants, weeding, harvesting, making juice, and packaging it so the product can be sold at a church in Kuala Lumpur to make profits to help support the house. Those who can’t perform at the farm work at the house doing duties such as cleaning, cooking, or helping with making the juices. They ALL have a purpose.
Even Andrew who due to his severe mental disability can’t perform much physical activities, but even him has a purpose. See, they all love to take care of Andrew and help Andrew walk from one side to another of the house. Andrew gives them the blessing to take care and lookout for an individual. Andrew has a purpose by giving them a purpose.
