I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas.
Jamos and I went north to Michigan to spend some time with our families!
I do love the north…the cold and of course, Lake Michigan! This is one of my favorite places to photograph. It was SO windy, you can see the sand blowing.
While we were in Michigan, we were able to speak at Freshwater Community Church, which supports us financially and prayerfully! We feel so privledged to be the FIRST missionaries this church has ever supported. It is a small church plant that meets in the local middle school gym. And, they have blessed us more than we can say!
Now that it is the NEW YEAR (welcome 2013) we have also officially moved into our new home here in Gainesville! Our role as house parents/mentors has begun and we are super excited!
God is so good to us. Sometimes I can only see right in front of me and get sidetracked by the everyday problems (that aren't really problems, just inconviences) and I fail to see how FAITHFUL our God has been, even when I am not paying attention or asking.
I hope you will join us in the New Year as we strive to relfect more about the faithfulness of the Lord in our lives! For the month, I have deactivated my Facebook account. Not because I don't want to keep in touch with you, but, I am challenging myself to spend more time reflecting, reading, praying, conversing with the girls in my house, etc.,
