I have been fortunate enough to move into a season of my life that lines up with the changes that are happening within the current seasons here in Georgia

I live in a place that has prioritized investing in leadership development and equipping the people in their community.  This past weekend I went to a training where I was poured back into as a leader and empowered to potentially lead upcoming domestic and international short-term mission trips with Adventures in Missions.

During the training, we participated in team building exercises (not REALLY a hostage situation).

I truly feel blessed to be able to work within an organization where such growth, empowerment, and equipping are the norm.  However, just like any other change it is never easy and is at times uncomfortable.

The uncomfortable for me now stems from living in a new state, developing new relationships, and learning a new job as a stateside missionary.

This weekend the one thing that has been instilled in me in the midst of this season of change is the fact that I am capable and equipped to bring the Kingdom to earth.

Luke 4:18
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
    because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free…"

Thanks for journeying with me.

Philemon 1:6
"I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ."
