Both Emily and I wanted to write and say thank you to so many people who have supported us so far in some capacity. We continue to ask that you contemplate and pray about how you can support us in this journey that God has set us on.
Emily and I both visited the doctor recently to get some vaccinations and it got me thinking about how amazing our body is. The vaccinations that we received are breaking down our immune system so that it could build up the antibodies to fight the disease if it need to. God continues to challenge us and test us. My Sunday school teacher encouraged us through identifying a mark of authentic Christianity as “being tested.” Emily and I are being tested in many ways, but are encouraged that Testing produces TRIUMPH!
In Philippians 1:6 it states, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
It is difficult many times to express the excitement, clarity and trust that Emily and I have in this being our next step. God continues to reveal himself to my wife and it is a beautiful thing to see. As Emily said in an earlier this was not an easy decision to come to, and we both have tried to trick ourselves into being happy or believing in reasons why we should not do this.
God has started an amazing process of transformation in our lives and will continue to do so until He returns.
