I just love these photo and video of the month blog posts because it means that I don’t just get to describe my experiences here in the field, but you actually get to see it!
This last month in Thailand, me and a group of my squad mates partnered with Agape Children’s Home in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We spent most of our time organizing and preparing their NEW library for the kids- painting, labeling, organizing, and dreaming big for what this library will be for this ministry in the future. I wish I had a before and after picture to show you how drastic the change was from when we started and what we left them with. We brightened the place up with sunflowers, we painted a whole bookshelf on the outside wall, and we created a whole system for checking out books thanks to my wonderful teammate Tayler, Miss Librarian, who worked at a library before the race.
We also had the privilege to help out in ESL classes with the kiddos and help the nannys feed the little babies!
Don’t want to spend too much time writing, cause these photos and video speak for themselves! I had each of my friends pick their favorite book and spot in the library and take a photo. So fun!
Enjoy my friends!
All my love,
JJ
p.s. Oh how I wish these would upload in order and I could guide you through the month, buuuuut internet and technology is not my friend. Enjoy these shuffled photos of the month!
