This was the first time I had a hard time picking a photo of the month.
It’s been so clear in the past, but I really had to sit here and wonder which one dereerved the title. As most of you have seen, I took a lot of videos, but not a lot of pictures. I feel like the easy option was to pick a training camp photo of my team or my squad because yeah training camp was AMAZING, but come on folks, if this photo of the Month thing is going to be legit, I can’t take the easy way out.
The best photo I took in the Month of October was one that epicly reminded me of Gods promises:

This is the view from my porch of my house in Oregon.
Me and my mom have been dreading the coming rainy season and on the first real day of downpour, a moment that signified the departure of the sunshine we so longed for, God gave us this beauty. For me, it was a reminder of the promise that God is going to take care of me, even in the “rainy seasons.”
He is my Provider, my Comfort, my Strength.
He also will fulfill His promises that He made me regarding my future hopes. Don’t know when that will be. He promised Abraham a son and didn’t give it to him for decades. The Lord’s timing is perfect and I need to trust and sit in that.
Whats also amazing about this photo is that if you look closely, you can see that it’s a double rainbow. It’s a reminder to me that yes, God might have me in a period of waiting or a “season if rain,” but when He does fulfill His promise, He does it in abundance. Just like He did for Abraham. A NATION descended from Abraham. God not only gave him a son, but a family, a tribe, a people, a country, outnumbering the stars in the sky.
God may have you in a season of waiting.
Or maybe your season is one of pain and suffering. Maybe you feel you’ve already been in the “rainy season” for months, if not years. Well, let this blog post be your double rainbow in the sky. God sees you, He is working in you in this season, and He will fulfill His promises. And when He does, He will bless you in abundance. Sometimes it’s different than what we expect, in fact, it probably is, but He has a greater plan; and one with YOU in mind.
Praying that today you find your rainbow- the hope that God has not left you, that He will keep His promise, and will one day bless you in abundance, for He desires to bless His children. Be looking for His small promises throughout your day.
All my love,
JJ
