Hey guys!

So this weekend I drove up to Fort Wayne to visit my twin sister with both of our dogs. During the drive up I realized that this is 1 of my last roadtrips I’ll be taking before I leave in 5 weeks. During my drive I got stuck in traffic for 30mins due to a major wreck on 465 in Indy. As I was sitting in traffic annoyed about being behind schedule I realized that I’m literally asking God to be my traffic jam and throw me off my schedule/routine. Over the next 11 months I’m literally trusting God to take complete control of my life and direct me and my squad in our journey.

Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time in worship and songs that I’ve heard a 1000 times are starting to have new meaning. Songs like Oceans, Catch the Wind, and Peace Be Still have become engrained in my heart and have broken me time and again. If you haven’t heard these songs before I highly recommend them! While sitting in that traffic I looked up my fundraising ticker and it revealed that I’m 61.3% funded!!! In dollar amount that means I have less than $8,000 to raise to be fully funded!!!

The Holy Spirit was truly moving in April. In 1 month alone, we have raised over $5,000! Which put me above my launch goal of $10,000. I’m truly grateful for every dime donated to help me answer His call! Love you guys so much!!!

Please be praying for my squadmates and my own fundraising efforts. As well as our upcoming endurance hike. Training for the hike is extremely difficult and painful but gratifying.

Until next time guys!
