Hey friends and family! This blog is going to be super short since my battery is dying. I’ll have a much longer blog post next time I have wifi.

This morning was spent out on the lake near where we’re staying. Saw some amazing animals and tried some of the local food that grow off the water. Even ate a MASSIVE mango that out tour guide brought with him during our outing. I can honestly say that my tastebuds are expanding and I couldn’t be happier about it.

Many of my squadmates have gotten sick this month but gratefully I have not been one of them. The health system is completely different than back home. You can go into the pharmacy and walk out with antibiotics and electrolytes juices without a script. It’s also a lot cheaper here than back in the states.

I found out thay scorpions are a serious thing down here. 1 of my dormmates got stung in the middle of the night in her bed, which by the way is on the top bunk and near the window. So that was kinda worrisome at 2am. Earlier that day we had either a frog or a toad that managed to make it’s way into our room. It’s been an adventure already and we’re only halfway through month 1! So looking forward to seeing what God brings to the surface these next 10 months and how He uses me and my current team.

Currently I’m at $16,038 out if the $19,200 I need to be fully funded. Please consider donating to help me stay on the field with this amazing group of people that have become family in such a short amount of time. Thank you all so much for your prayers and support. Much love!!!
