Hey friends and family!

Sorry it’s been so long since my last update. Work picked up at the end of the year and then the holidays started. Now trying to get back in the swing of things with work and balancing everything. So let’s you catch you guys up. Sorry if this becomes super long.

On a whim I decided to do a candy/goodie fundraiser right before the Christmas season. I sold a variety of different homemade goods and candies. Several friends took the forms to their work and spend the word to help me fund-raise. I ended up making roughly $600 in profit so it was a great fundraiser! I did a soft launch of my newest fundraiser for Valentine’s Day a couple days ago and it has taken off already. I’m praying it does just as well this time around. I’ll come back to fundraising a little later in this post.

Over the holidays my best friend got engaged and I couldn’t be happier for her and her fiance! Sadly, I won’t be here for their wedding, but that doesn’t matter I will be on facetime and get to see them say their vows. I was at their proposal and was the person who recorded their proposal. It was SUPER hard to not tell her because we tell each other everything. Anyway, I made lots of memories and took TONS of pictures of family and friends during our holidays together this year. It finally hit me on Christmas morning that I’m not going to be home next year for Christmas with my family. I’ll be out serving God on this amazing mission trip He has called me to.

Fundraising… This is a topic that has been a major struggle lately. Yes, my latest fundraiser brought in a good chunk of money, but I’ve tried so many other things over the last few months and most of them have tanked. I’ve tried adopt-a-box, threads of hope, selling t-shirts, support letters, candy/goody bake sales and I’m going to be doing give back nights at some local restaurants. Currently, I’m at $3,395 that’s in my account. I have received some more donations that I haven’t had a chance to deposit them into my account yet. I promise your donations will get deposited as soon as I can get to the bank. I’ve started realizing that even though I’m called to the WR God has been pushing me outside my comfort zone and I share more on how He’s been doing that on a different blog, so stay tuned for that post.

Thank you for reading and please continue praying for my squad and for my fundraising. I’m so close to my first goal of $5,000 which is due on April 19th! If any of you would like to get together and talk about my trip and want to grab a coffee and sit down 1 on 1 and talk, please message me and we can set up a time. Love you guys thanks for reading and for supporting me throughout my journey.

Much love!! Jamie
