Hi Everyone!
A little about me is my name is Jamie Fletcher. I am 21 years old and a senior at University of Arkansas Fort Smith. I am currently studying Biochemistry with emphasis of Pre-Med and will be graduating May 2019. I plan on attending medical school after the Race!
I was raised in Arkansas almost my whole life in a small town called Greenwood. I have been attending a church called Harvest Time for several years now and absolutely love it. I am part of an amazing community there and I get the opportunity to lead a youth small group of the greatest 12th graders I have ever met.
I had the call on my heart for missions for about 1-2 years now but did not get to do a missions trip until this pass summer to the Dominican Republic. The organization that I went with was FAME missions that is medical/faith based. We had the opportunity to serve with Del Corazon de JesuCristo and set up medical clinics in several towns. This trip changed how I looked at God, how I looked a people, and how I have to serve Him now. I thought I wanted to wait until after medical school to do any mission work, believing my plan of life was the right way. But the Lord was like NOPE, and lead me to the World Race page and now I am here. I am super excited to see God work through my team and I in the countries that we get to visit.
Thank you for spending the time to read a little about me. I look forward to sharing more about myself and about what God will be doing with me on the World Race!
