Religion, religion. We hear so much about religion…any religion…religions that are oppresive, legalistic, and abusive. In fact, we hear so much negative about religion that we think of it as something that we don't want anything to do with. But there is a religion that the Bible speaks of that I definitely want to be a part of. It's called pure and genuine religion. James 1:27 says,
"Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress, and refusing to let the world corrupt you."
And so, it's because of verses like this, and a passion that the Father has laid on my heart, that it's to the nations I go! During my time on the World Race I'm praying that God would stretch me in ways I've never been stretch before, and use my hands, my feet, to bring FAME to HIS NAME!!!
However, I need your help! As far as support goes, you can help support me in at least 3 ways:
1. First and most importantly you can Pray!
Pray for my finances that Father God would supply them quickly so that I don't have to worry about it while on the mission field. You can also begin praying that God would prepare me mentally, physically, and spiritually now-January, throughout the race, and when I arrive back.
Also pray for:
– Travel, health, safety
– Patience, flexibility & understanding with others & especially each other
– Wisdom & discernment
– Self-discipline
– Fruitful ministry
– Boldness & courage
– Financial Support
2. Tell other people. Word of Mouth will be one of the biggest ways you can help share my story and what God is doing. I would love to have as much prayer support as possible as we do ministry and travel everywhere.
3. You can support me FINANCIALLY. In order for me to go on the World Race I must raise 15,500 dollars. If you feel like God is leading you to support me financially, please pray about it first! Ask Him what exactly He would have you do. If you feel as though He has given you the green light after praying, then PLEASE GIVE!!! 🙂 Every single dollar and penny will add up, so please do this accordingly in obedience. It's not the easiest asking for support or asking friends and family to give up a few dollars to finance this trip, but when I know how much these people need Christ's love and our help, it is worth EVERYTHING to me, and I hope it will mean something to you too. 🙂 It would be an honor to have you partner with me in this ministry!
