Thank you! Thank you for giving to my ministry account and making this possible! As of today, I have $13,167.54 in my account which means I'll be launching out of Chicago with the one and only, I-Squad! I'm beyond excited knowing I'll be walking on either Botswana or Zimbabwe soil in less than a month! God is so amazing!
Q: So what’s next?
A: Well, on August 31st, I'll leave Omaha and drive to the Windy City – Chicago of course – with my parents, sister, and two of my best friends (Lots of beef jerky and corn nuts will be eaten on this road trip – What's your favorite kind of corn nuts?)! We'll be staying with my aunt and uncle and they'll all get to see me off 🙂
Although I don't know a lot more, here’s what I do know: September 4th I’ll be meeting up with the rest of the team leaders and Logisitcs coordinators from all of the squads. The rest of I-squad will arrive on the 5th and we'll be in Chicago for 3-4 days for briefing and some additional training before flying to our first locations. I-Squad will be split between Zimbabwe and Botswana and I don’t know which one my team will be just yet, but I will share with you when I find out!
Q: What will you be doing until Sept 5?
A: As some of you know, I've worked at Mutual of Omaha for the past three years and will say goodbye to all of them on August 24th – It's very bittersweet because of the friendships I've formed over the last few years. I've been so lucky!
In the meantime, I'm also having a Taco Dinner Fundraiser and Farewell on Saturday, August 18th – So if you're around, I would LOVE for you to stop by!
Q: So, is all your support raised now?
A: No, but we’re getting closer! I need $15,500 to be fully funded which means I still have $2,332.46 to raise! Looking at the dollar number I still had left to raise only a few months ago and the number now, I know that my God is capable on ANYTHING and I can put my complete trust in Him to raise the remainder of this money!
I also have to thank my church and congregation for their generous support!

A: Wow, thanks for asking! That's incredibly encouraging! You can also support me through prayer and sharing about my mission trip with your network of people. Specific prayer requests for right now would be for continued financial provision and for me to completely surrender control to God.
