I think it just hit me how real the World Race is! I mean, it’s all I have been thinking about lately. What it will be like to be in Africa instead of cleaning my car of snow. Being in Asia when it will be super hot and humid instead of freezing cold and dry here. What I will pack. How much I will pack. It seems that World Race thoughts are all that are on my mind! And it is still about 16 weeks away! WOW!
I am excited about the race and the experiences I will encounter and how God will use me… but guess what?!? I have to raise the funds first! I honestly thought it would be easy. But it is a tougher task than I originally thought. I have a little over $1,000 (not adding in monthly or quarterly sponsors). I have a lot more to go! Say like $14,000. Oh my.
This is where you come. If you are looking for a ministry to support? Why not this one? During the race, I will encounter the real life issues of human trafficking, sex slavery, HIV/AIDS, poverty, orphans, and religious diversity. During these 11 months, God is going to use my squad, my team and myself in great ways to make an everlasting impact on this world.
