In all honesty, this time in my life has tested my trust in the Lord. I was thinking all week, what am I going to write about? Well, I think I know now.

The hardest thing for me is not knowing. Not knowing how, when, what will take place. When I understand, when I see, that’s when its easy to trust.

I’ve been thinking about the famous verse: Proverbs 3:5

I actually love this verse in the amplified version.

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. [a]In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].

I love the verse in 1st Corinthians 2 that says, For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

Even though many times I want to know exactly what’s going to take place, I’m so glad there’s many things I don’t know simply because he loves me. I think he also likes to surprise us! See the joy on our faces like we just opened a present on Christmas morning. He is our heavenly father who loves us, after all.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32

Lord, help me to keep my eyes on you. Help me to know nothing except Jesus Christ and him crucified. For when my eyes are on you, then every worry and fear fades away. Every question has an answer in the truth of your word and the beauty of your presence. Every path is made straight and every obstacle removed. Thanks for reading everyone! 🙂
