Hello all!

Below is my fundraising letter, it explains a little more about my trip, as well as the financial aspect of it. I am in charge of raising all the funds for my trip. Currently I am working at Valspar to pay for as much as I can, however I will also need to raise additional financial support to cover the rest. I can’t express the amount of gratitude I have for all of you supporting me emotionally, spiritually and physically. If you would like to support me I will do everything in my power to use this experience to change the lives of others! Again if you would like to talk to me more about this feel free to send me an email, text or call and we can meet up 🙂

Thank you again!

I recently graduated from North Dakota State University with Bachelors in Chemistry and a minor in Business Administration in December 2014. Two things I have always wanted to do in my life were: make a difference, and travel the world, specifically to Africa. Over the last few years I have had the privilege of traveling to Costa Rica and Guatemala for mission work where I worked in orphanages, homeless shelters and a malnourished clinic for children. I knew that before I started my professional career I wanted to fulfill my dreams of making a difference, and going to Africa.

After looking up numerous mission trips to Africa, my cousin introduced me to the World Race. The World Race is a Christian mission trip where teams serve in 11 different countries in 11 months. On this mission I will be serving others and making a difference in the world.

During the 11 months, my team and I will travel to Central America, Africa and Asia. I will be on a team of about 7-10 people for the entire race. We will be serving with churches and ministries in the local communities to preach the Gospel, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking and build churches. My hope is that this trip will further open my eyes to God, and the plan he has for my life.

I know that I will face many challenges throughout the World Race, but the biggest challenge I have is financial support. Like most mission trips, participants are required to fundraise for the financial support to make the trip possible. In order to leave fully funded in September 2015, I need to raise $16,300. This money will fund all of my field expenses for the 11 months, including meals, lodging and transportation to all of the countries. As I take this leap of faith, would you please consider making a one-time or monthly donation to my endeavors as I embark on my journey? Any amount is greatly appreciated!
