I’ve always found it difficult to try and describe myself, let alone in a way that even remotely comes close to being concise (that goes for most of my communication). However, since this a blog, and not an autobiography, here are a few quick snapshots which will give you a better look into my life. I am….
- 32 years old, which makes me the squad elder. Ha!
- currently living and working in Charlotte, NC:
- a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, so health and nutrition are definitely huge areas of interest for me….and yes, it is perfectly normal to show some love to your 5lb. fat model:
- a massive foodie! I love talking about food, cooking food, eating food, reading about food…you get the point.

- best described in oxymorons….introverted extrovert, idealistic realist and very girly/feminine woman with many “male” interests (video games, guns, zombies, action and monster movies, etc.).
- a daughter of Christ, who is constantly learning what exactly that means. I’m sure God will have tons more to teach and show to me through this upcoming experience.
- a daughter and sister to these irreplaceable folks:

- an aunt to these cuties:

- very much in love with this handsome fellow (my boyfriend Keith):

- “mother” to the cutest black pug in the world, Kai Ninja himself (and I swear I am not typically the dress-up-your-dog type of person):
- very inquisitive, so love learning about how things and people work and why. I like digging to get to the deeper meaning and truths behind things.
- a big fan of traveling, exploring and learning/trying new things (which is probably obvious since I am about to go on the World Race). Also a major fan of all things related to beaches and sunny days.
- a bit of a geek at heart. Thus, the XBOX, Vader pug and weird love of these guys:

- useless without my music and sense of humor. Jokes/laughing and theme music to my life are a daily must.
- very much into fitness/exercise and like a good challenge, in most areas of my life. My current addiction is 9 Round:
- grateful that you have taken the time to get to know me more, and visit my blog 🙂
I pray that you will come alongside me during this next big step in my life. I will need as much support as I can get, whether that be your prayers, time, advice, financial donations, words of encouragement or any combination of the above. Feel free to subscribe to my blog to stay updated on what’s happening and/or share any of these posts to others that might be interested in joining my support team.
