One of my favorite bands, Toad the Wet Sprocket, pens this line, “We spotted the ocean, ahead of the trail, where are we going? So far away . . .” Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the enormity of our call.
And He said to them, ” Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

Sometimes I feel like this picture:
One person walking into something very big. Then I remember something my friend likes to tell me. He says, “God is bigger than that.” It’s true God is bigger than the ocean, bigger than the world, bigger than anything. I think maybe instead of thinking of this journey as a task or job or overwheming obligation, we should think of it as a priviledge. God has called us to us and has called us to tell others about Him. He has entrusted us to tell others about His love. What an honor!
How lovely on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Isaiah 52:7
I like this verse, because I have pretty ugly feet. Peace.
