Mozambique was a great time growing in the Lord and experiencing knew things.
At our first location in the bush, we worked with a pastor whose church had been destroyed in the cyclone. We prayed for the sick, prayed for families, shared the word, and ate barricuda.
In our second location we worked with a confused church that needed doctrinal help. So we walked through the entire Bible, starting with creation and ending with the gospel message. We pray the church will take to heart what we had to share.
Spiritual activity was more blatant than I’ve seen in my whole life. We were in areas where people make sacrifices and visit witch doctors when they are sick. Part of our teaching was making sure that the church knows that Jesus is the only power they should rely on.
We were happy to see Andrew come back, and sad to see Amanda leave, but we know God is faithful in everything. I hope to get some pictures up and maybe a video soon, but I”m out of time for now. Peace.
