Hey everybody, my name is James Spano. This little section is here to let you in on who I am, as much as you can get from words on a page.

I was born and raised in Auburn Alabama, and I graduated Auburn University (War Eagle!) with a degree in music education. I was raised in a Christian home to the most amazing parents ever. I grew up in the church and was saved at an early age. I was homeschooled as a kid, along with my two brothers (Josh and John).

I’ve been on several short term mission trips and felt the call to missions coming back from a trip to Mexico. This trip will be my longest trip anywhere, and I am extremely excited.

Music is my thing. The Lord has graciously gifte me in this area. I lead worship for the youth group at my church, as well as the children’s Sunday morning “Celebration Station.” I dabble in piano, guitar, electric bass, clarinet, flute, saxophone, and the kazoo.

I’m so ready to find out what the Lord has in store for us on this trip. It will be truly exciting, a little scary, and probably more fun than I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t wait.
