“There shall be showers of blessings” as the old hymn goes. On Sunday we had the opportunity to visit a local church that the ’06 team had worked with last year.
We were greeted by many locals, as well as Seth, Gary, Andrew, Bob, and Hannah who made it in to town late the night before. We had a beautiful service that was a very fast three hours. The Holy Spirit came to visit and worked in the lives of the members of the church as well as our team.
In honor of our visit, a member of the church donated a cow for us to feast on, and feast we did. We had delicious cuts of beef served with rice and about a million tortillas. To drink we were served a juice that is made by cooking a local fruit, extracting the juices, and mixing that with water.
After our visit with the church we went to visit Agua Azul (blue water), which is a local collection of waterfalls. We had a wonderful time of relaxing and walking along the beautiful falls. Some people even went for a swim.

The next few days we will be going through some intense training with Seth Barnes, Gary Black, and Andrew Shearman. To say that these are men of God is an understatement. We are truly blessed to have them come and share with us and pray with us and give us a kick start into this year. Peace.
