Sometimes, God just takes you by the shoulders and turns you in a direction you had no idea was even a plausible idea. That’s how it was for me.
There I was, steadily climbing the ladder on a great, respectable career with a comfortable salary complete with benefits and retirement – then God grabbed me by the shoulders.
But I’ve felt this before; being led on a path by God is such a distinct feeling. It usually feels so different, and scary, but not stressful. For me, it has always been so exciting that it keeps me up at night, but never overwhelming. It seems insane, and yet somehow perfect.
So, God has led me to international missions. I’ve been accepted, and I’ve committed to the World Race, set to leave in October 2017.
