Hey friends, greetings from Romania! I just wanted to give you a brief update on where I am with fundraising. In the last month I have collected an additional $1584, giving me a grand total of $10,800.68! Unfortuantely it was not enough for me to meet $11,000 that was due on October 1. However I have been given until the end of this month to come up with the additional $200. If you are considering supporting me please send in your contribution as soon as possible!
- My online store is still open! Money from all purchases goes to support me. Go to www/cafepress.com/WRstore for purchases.
For those who would like to contribute directly but aren't sure how there are several ways:
- You can send me a check made out to Adventures in Missions (it's a 501(c)3 non-profit organization so your gift is tax deductable!), and I can forward it on to the main office in Atlanta.
- For support slips: if you're in Baton Rouge you can contact my parents, Bond & Nita Lux. If you are in Knoxville you can contact Francie Koerhsen, Russ Mitchell, or Calvary Baptist Church. They can then send the check and the support slip to the main office or you can send at your convenience. (Note: It is strongly recommended that you do not send cash in the mail.)
- In the grey bar on the left side of this blog there is a link that says 'Support Me!' that will take you to an online giving form.
