Hey everyone we got into Auckland this morning at 5:30 a.m. By the way its Tuesday here, I completely skipped Monday. That seems so weird to me… I am in the future! We caught a bus down to Crystal Springs, Matamata. We are the going to be here for a few days for some training and then we head out to our perspective ministry sites. Matamata is beautiful, I don’t have any pictures yet but The Shire from The Lord of The Rings is 20 minutes away from here! So you can imagine.
So far it has been like a huge family reunion getting to see everyone on the squad and catch up on all our stories about support raising and preparing for the trip. And because I’ve slept at best 4 hours in the last two nights, I am running on pure adrenaline. I am so excited about the potential of this trip and the people I get to share the experience with, and most of all the amazing things God is going to do throughout the year. So thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who allowed me to be a part of God’s plan for the world! I cannot express enough my gratitude for all of your generosity! You all have truly blessed me! Thank you so much again!
So internet access here at camp is sparse, so I will be updating everyone (hopefully with some pictures too) in a few days when we are settled into our sites for the month. I hope all of you are doing well and God Bless!
