As we are preparing to leave this wonderful place, it is hard looking back to see where it started. It feels like we have been here forever- that our lives naturally meshed into theirs and we complemented one another. It is going to be so difficult for us to leave, because these people are our community, these kids are our hearts and this island our home. There have literally been only a handful of places where I have felt at home as I have here and I think that is true for most of our team. So this becomes our suffering- forming relationships each month and then having to go. Not that the relationships stop because we leave, but they defenitely are changed. So it is hard and it is necessary. But I don´t want this to be a memorial to Ometepe because it is alive and thriving in the Spirit of the Lord. Instead I want to leave it with a top ten- a top ten experiences of Nicaragua. And some more pics.

10) Hammocks (the world´s chair of choice)
9) Late night soccer games
8) Helados (ice cream forzen into little baggies that you chew a corner of)
7) Introducing the kids to S´mores and bonfires on the beach (probably knew about the bonfire thing already)

6) Numerous truck rides in the back with the wind blowing in my face and free food (bugs, twigs, etc)
5) Climbing Volcano Concepcion (and almost dying near the top when the wind tried to force me off the peak)
4) Church service with the amazing worship and dancing and flag presentations and people desiring the Lord with all their heart
3) Hunting crabs and turtles
2) Living with the kids and getting to hang out with them and love on them
1) Being a part of the church here and seeing their love for the people and their active response

Thank you Nicaragua!
