A Reassuring Word
I promise you I’ll never leave,
I promise you I’ll help you breathe.
My breath will give you new life,
It’ll bring you joy; you will feel alive.
But if feeling alive is what you want,
It’s possible you’re in the wrong hunt.
It’s Me you want after all,
Everything else will make you fall.
Fall for me and I’ll show you how,
To live complete, to live in the now.
Now means day by day,
And please, don’t worry about the rest, I will show you the way.
The way is not always what you think,
In fact, most of the time it turns out quite different.
It is best you leave that to My pen and ink,
In my hand I assure you it will be nothing short of magnificent.
I have been known to write some good stories,
Stories of love, of sacrifice, of glory.
Glory in Me and you will assuredly find,
That your story will remain and become a part of mine.
It will endure, it will not be left behind.
