First of I want to share some good news with everyone if you have noticed I have taken my fundraising bar down and that is because I am FULLY FUNDED!!!!! Thank you to everyone that has donated and helped me along this journey. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me and I continue to ask that you continue to pray more me and my squad.
I want to take a moment and share something with you that was spoken over me in Indonesia. You’re walking, there is darkness around you and every step you take when you lift your foot your footprint has light shining through it. There is a path of your light being left behind you, the light in every footprint does not fade or disappear but it is left there forever. It was just a reminder that where every we go or whatever we do because the Lord is in us we are leaving his mark behind us. This was something that I needed to be reminded of because in Indo there were so many times that we were going place and couldn’t understand anything that was being said and it felt like we were going just for pictures. I started to become frustrated because I felt that we could be doing more. One Sunday in Indo we went to a “church service” it was a meeting of multiple small groups getting together(some Christian some Muslim). The service wasn’t translated for us, so we had no idea what was being said it was like 8hrs long with like a three hour ride each way. As it got towards the end of the service they asked if we would play a worship song even though they wouldn’t understand it. We happily played and then JD on my team shared a real quick summed up story of a person that we had the ability to pray healing over and then was healed. After that we sat back down, and they continued with there service and then we took pictures with people for about an hour afterwards. I felt like we wasted a whole day not being able to understand or being understood and as it was we had so much that we were trying to plan in the short amount of time we had left in Indonesia. The next day over dinner our host was telling us that the reason we couldn’t find her during pictures is because one of the women at the church service had pulled her to the side and wanted to know who “Isa Al Massi”(Jesus) is and if he could actually heal. She was one of the people that heard the testimony that John David(JD) shared. WOW talk about foot in mouth. I’m over here saying that day was a complete waste and little did I know that our host was able to share Jesus with someone who did not believe in him. We don’t need to understand the language because God transcends all language and understanding.
Now we are in India and for a week we were in Ongole. We went to remote villages and prayed for people and even though we didn’t speak Telugu we let they Holy Spirit lead us, and we watched God heal people. One person I remember was a woman who, at the time didn’t know what needed healing but I prayed for her and when I finished praying she just stood there bending her knee back and forth with her mouth open and I told her Yeashu. While we were in these villages when we had translators or when we came across people who were Christians and spoke English we had them pray for people because one thing we found out is that they thought that they couldn’t pray for people because only we could heal. We were able to share with them that the same Holy Spirit that is in us is inside them and that Jesus heals and not us. Those villages will always remember what Jesus did there and the footprints of Jesus will remain there forever.
Now we are in Kolkata and we are where other teams have gone before us. There is street here that is nicknamed “Miracle Street” it is a back ally where the first team that came here was able to pray for people and was able to share Jesus with people and 100’s of people where healed. GOD IS AWESOME!!! We have been here a couple days and we have been able to go back to that street meet with a man who speaks English and was one of the first people that was healed in that ally. It has been amazing to watch God show up and already do some healing. The one thing I want to express is that it isn’t about this ally, this ally isn’t something special and it is not about us. We are God’s hands and feet and there is a need and God has showed up. People are coming to know who Jesus is because of these healing that have taken place. It has been 3-4 years and local people still remember everything that Jesus did on that street. Those footprints are still there.
I want to challenge you to remember that wherever you go if Jesus is with in you that you will be leaving his light and people will see him in you. Start your day off and ask God to reveal to you the person he wants you to speak life into, who he wants you to pray for. God will highlight people for you and you will have choice to listen or to ignore. I also want to challenge you to pray boldly and with faith that God is our healer and that he created you and he designed how our bodies should work and he can put everything back to the way that it was meant to be. Go and leave God’s footprints where ever go.
