Here it is. The start, just as the title says. I have a blog now, so it's official, right? Time to get to work. I'm not sure how ready I exactly am, but God does. And I trust Him.
Thinking about what lies ahead seems surreal to me, at the moment. What did I do to deserve such an opportunity? When I first started researching the World Race, I always thought, "Something like this, incredible as it is, isn't something for me. It's for someone more intellectual, someone much more educated in their faith, someone who has or is close to attaining a degree. Someone from a different location, or has a special talent. But then I started reading blogs.
I realized quickly that hey! These people are just like me: young believers who want to glorify God, spread His word, and grow in their faith. They talk like me, their backgrounds are like mine, and they have awesome senses of humor. Awesome.
God works the same way. He doesnt ask a priveleged few to spread His word. He asks all of us; everyone, to pick up their cross and serve Him. So here I am, at the start of something that exists to serve Something greater than myself. I couldnt be more excited.
