I have so many things to share, and as I prepare to depart for Africa, it feels as though I may be out of time. With the likelihood of sparse Internet access, I’m not sure what communication will look like during these next three months. I want to reiterate my sincere appreciation for all of the spiritual, emotional, and financial support from each of you. To those of you I have not communicated with individually via phone or email, thank you. Thank you so very much. You have helped to lift me from some difficult times, perhaps more than you know, and I look forward to sharing with you stories of victory when God brings me home to the ‘States.

While I haven’t offered a very comprehensive story during these first few months, I do have something to share that I think you will enjoy. One of my teammates, Daniel Durick, is a videographer who worked for a local ABC station before the Race, and he produces some top-notch videos. He creates a number of ‘episodes’ during each month, and you can view them all on his YouTube channel here. You’ll notice I make several appearances in the episodes recorded during these past two months in Ireland and Romania.

Meanwhile, I have a squadmate named Colby Gardner who creates a video for each day of the Race, and they are all available on his YouTube channel here. Colby is a member of Team Last Place, and we had the pleasure of partnering with them this month in the ministry at Casa Shalom. There are a few special episodes mixed in showing the ‘drama’ of the Race and the unusually plush living accommodations we enjoyed in Romania.

Prayer requests:

  • That the men and women of Team Fearless will each seek after the specific roles God has for us in this season
  • That I will make new decisions each day to step into greater boldness and be the leader that Daniel, Leah, Sami, Rachel, and Kendra each need
  • For God  to give us the spiritual awareness and gifts that everyone on ‘P’ squad desires, specifically as we enter Africa and a new spiritual climate
  • For our three original squad leaders of ‘P’ squad – Kyla Cornelius, Janina Laier, and Kim Hillebrand – as they travel back to the ‘States, spend time with their families, and enter the next season God has for them
  • For our two new squad leaders – Joshua Maisner and Lia Frederick – who have been raised up from previous positions as team leaders, and who will guide us and direct us during the next seven months

I love you all, and I look forward to communicating with you from Africa as soon as possible!
