A while back, as I was bragging to a good friend about the
latest-and-greatest free product/service from Google, he called me out on my
blind, whole-hearted support of all things blue-red-yellow-and-green. Well, here’s
another example of my affection for the electronic marvels from southern
California, and this one can help you share in the World Race experience with
me:

1. Google Voice telephone number | (507) 323-2121

If you call this number, you can leave a voice message for
me, just like you would if you were calling my normal mobile phone at home.
Later, when I reach an Internet connection, I can listen to that message on my
computer, or on my iPhone using WiFi. Or if you prefer, you can send me a SMS
(text message), and I can reply to your mobile phone.

So, if you receive a call or a SMS from the number above,
it’s me! Please feel free to use this method to share some encouragement, a
thought, or a question, and I’ll get back to you whenever I can plug in.

2. Photo slideshow form Picasa Web Albums

As I mentioned last month, my photos from the
first three
months of the Race are uploaded and ready to be perused at your leisure.
I understand many of
them might appear random without a little narration, and I hope I can
provide
stories to match when I return home. Nonetheless, here’s a slideshow
that
captures our journey, beginning during my last month in America –
including a few shots from Jim+Chelsey’s wedding, road trips, and me
trying out my World Race gear – and ending as
we arrive in Bucharest: (warning: over 700 photos already!)
