Happy Valentines Day everybody!!

Valentines is absolutely one of my favorite holidays! In honor of February 14 I wanna shout out to my family and talk about God snuggling!

Since I was real young I was obsessed with the idea that I could make some ones day special by telling them I love them.

My Mom and Dad instilled a very high love for Valentines Day in me. My dad used to go all out for my mom, it was his favorite holiday. It was a blessing to see there love for each other. I hope to live love like that some day. My mom used to start out Valentines Day with hugs, candy, a small present and an awesome love note for each of us. I still have one of my moms Valentines day love notes saved in my wallet :).

I miss my family very much, so a quick shout out is in order.

Mom – I love you so much. You are my favorite person on earth. I’m closer to you than any one. Thank you for always demonstrating unconditional, deep, and yet fun love for me. It has changed my life. Your the best mom on earth, perfectly suited for me. I miss you so much! Xoxoxo
Luke – I tell you I love you every time I get to text you because I REALLY DO. Your my favorite guy in the whole world. You make me so proud by just simply being you. It has been a huge blessing to grow up next to you. Smooch your lady on the cheek for me :). Thank you and I miss you so much!
Emily – People of this would kill to know you. You are THAT special. I’m just excited I get to know you for free. You are a wonderful, beautiful, bright young woman. I’m so over blessed to call you my sister. I love you bundles!! Miss you!! Give your man a smooch on the cheek for me ha.
Holly Dolly – Your gorgeous inside and out. Straight perfection in every way. I am so delighted to be your big brother. I’m so proud of you!! I smile every time I think of you, which is often. Keep that joy rolling ๐Ÿ™‚ I love you bushels! Miss you!!

Snuggling is probably one of my favorite parts of this world. Curling up with a blanket with a loved one to watch a movie. It’s great so I do it OFTEN. So warm, so comfortable, so perfect.

In my time with God this morning I realized that I snuggle with Him too. I don’t want you to think of it in a weird romantic way, but it’s definitely intimate. Try to imagine being a little kid and curling up in your mom or dad’s arms.

There are these moments with God, they are happening more and more, that I feel so close, so warm, so cozy, and so full of love. It’s awesome. I never want to leave, which is fine with God because he doesn’t want to either. I have recently termed these moments God snuggling. They usually happen when I’m worshiping alone or on my knees praying. It is so good.

The best part of God snuggling is that it doesn’t wear off. Other types of snuggling eventually fade away because you have to leave, but God snuggling pours right into your God love tank which only serves to make your life better. Eternal win.

So on this blustery cold Valentines day (or hot if you are in India) find some time to snuggle. With God, with family, with friends, with significant others. It’s wonderful all around. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Love,

Jake
