Honduras is such a beautiful country, our ministry was located in Olancho State. For the month we partnered with Olancho Aid Foundation, teaching at Santa Clara bilingual school.
During our time there we were able to experience a local independence day parade with some of our sweet kiddos.
This is me teaching in all my zeal. I fell in love with my students. I taught reading to fourth, fifth, and sixth grade and loved every second of it.
They showered me with love and sweet notes.

This is Maria Jose, she lived at the orphanage next door to where we were staying. She was also one of my students. The Lord taught me so much through this little one. At first, She was rough and resistant, but the Lord pushed me to press in and love on her. She had walls but he wanted me to intrude, day after day of him peeling back her layers there came break through. She let me in, and I had some of the most beautiful moments with her.
I spent some time at Nazareth Special Needs School. I helped out in a life skills classroom. Here they made rosaries and bracelets which were sold to raise money for the school. These sweet friends of mine even helped string a few wooden beads on my dreads. I love these sweet faces so much.
Our month in Honduras was filled with so much joy. Here’s a photo of the little mural we were able to leave behind at the volunteer house.
I’m only 75% funded and still have to meet my next dead line coming up. I ask that you would prayerfully consider supporting and partnering with me and Jesus in his ministry to the nations by helping with funds to continue this race I’m on. Much love!
