God has been working in my life a lot since coming home from training camp in May. Once I came home God really placed healing on my heart and I didn’t really know what it meant or how to take it because I have never dealt with this subject before.
At training camp I was introduced to the idea that God heals people. I believed this before but its one of those things that if you haven’t seen before then you are not really sure.
When I went back to training camp to be on the serve team in July one of the alumni prophesied over me and said that I would be the comforter of my team and that we would see healing. For those of you who don’t know what prophecy is don’t worry I didn’t either until training camp. Prophecy is when you pray about a person and ask God what He has for that person. It may just be a word, it may be something from the future or it may just be what is true about that person.
After this I really started praying about healing. God has been building my confidence in this department for sure.
When I was at launch it became apparent to me that God has called me to be a healer. After several people who I had not told about this whole healing thing would prophesies over me and God would give them the word healer for me. I ended up praying for a couple of people on my squad for them to be healed and they were!
I am still trying to wrap my mind around this whole thing and am not sure if I ever will. One thing that I know God has called me to heal so I know that I am a healer.
