Embers of Hope
I have 7 members on my team…I will introduce them to you a little later. First I would like to take some time to explain why we picked the name Embers of Hope for our team name.
When you think of an ember, you think of something that is very small but when placed in the right condition could spread like a wild fire. As a team we want to be a small ember to the world and if placed in the right conditions we could potentially light up all the darkness. There are also so many people in this world who don’t have any hope what so ever. We want to share with the nations the hope that we find in Jesus Christ and how He is the way the truth and the life (John 14:6). Not only do we want to take hope to the nations we want our own hope to be strengthened by the nations.
And finally my team Embers of Hope!!!!

As a team we had to go out and make a memory. We decided to go to an Italian restaurant called Papas. This is my team standing in front of the mural of papa on the side of the restaurant.
I would also like to take this opportunity to give you a support update. I have met my launch goal of $6,000.00 so I am really leaving this August on my way to Kenya. I currently have $8,163.00 in my support account. This means that I still have about $6,600.00 left to raise until I am fully funded. I ask that you would prayerfuly consider joining my mission. You will not only, be helping me to reach my goal but helping feed the hungry, build houses for the homeless, get young children out of human trafficking, preaching, planting churches, and so much more. Thank you so much for the people who have already made a donation and to the people who will make one. I am so thankful and know that I couldn’t do this without you.
Love
Jaime
