WOW!! I absolutely cannot believe that I am here right now. It is all still so surreal to me. Once we got to DC we met up with our squad and sat around at the airport for a bit. Our logistic guys eventually showed up and gave us further directions. We were given $6.00 for a bus that would take us to the metro which would then take us to another bus which would finally get us to our final stop Virginia Theological Seminary (http://www.vts.edu). All of this took about 2 hours and keep in mind that we had all of our luggage with us Ha Ha!! Let me tell you we were a hot mess…47 or so people with their gear getting on buses and metros. Our home for the week was our tent which we pitched on their lawn. They let us use their showers and restrooms and the main meeting halls were with air conditioning which I was very thankful for.

As I am writing this I am sitting in the Washington, DC airport with my squad and we are getting ready to fly out to Kenya tonight!! I am in shock at how fast this time has arrived. I am so excited to start this journey and can’t wait to see how God is going to move and how He is going to use me to make that move.

I am so so so thankful for how Faithful God has been to me! Right now in my support account I have $10,670.52 Praise the Lord. this means that I still need $4129.48 to be able to stay for the full 11 months. Right now I can only stay 6 of those months. I know God has chosen me for this race and has a plan for me. Please consider partnering with me in this race. God has set a fire on my team and I know that amazing things are going to be happening. Take this step of faith with me as I travel to the world for the both of us proclaiming Gods love to the world. To make a donation click on the support me link on the left hand side of this screen. It is going to be a lot harder for me to raise the money overseas so I have a hige favor to ask if you could just tell your friends and your family what I am doing and help me spread the word of what I am doing I would greatly appreciate it!! I love each and everyone of you and thank you for your support of prayer and finances. I am not sure what my internet access is going to look like in Kenya but I will get another blog up as soon as I can!

Love

Jaime
