Written: 8-5-2011 WOW!! I absolutely cannot believe that I am here right now. It is all still so surreal to me. Once we got to DC we met up with our squad and sat around at the airport for a bit. Our logistic guys eventually showed up and gave us further directions. We were given $6.00 for a bus that would take us to the metro which would then take us to another bus which would finally get us to our final stop Virginia Theological Seminary (
As I am writing this I am sitting in the Washington, DC airport with my squad and we are getting ready to fly out to Kenya tonight!! I am in shock at how fast this time has arrived. I am so excited to start this journey and can’t wait to see how God is going to move and how He is going to use me to make that move.
I am so so so thankful for how Faithful God has been to me! Right now in my support account I have $10,670.52 Praise the Lord. this means that I still need $4129.48 to be able to stay for the full 11 months. Right now I can only stay 6 of those months. I know God has chosen me for this race and has a plan for me. Please consider partnering with me in this race. God has set a fire on my team and I know that amazing things are going to be happening.
