Green Means Go! I can see the runway, the plane sitting there waiting for the August 2011 racers to board. I am officially leaving the country this August my first stop…Kenya, Africa!! I have met my launch goal of $6,000 which allows me to launch. I currently have $7,597.50 in my account leaving 7,202.50 left to raise!! As you can see I am more than half way there!! This would not be possible without you…Thank you so much for your financial and prayer support. I keep reading blogs of current and past racers but I can’t even begin to imagine what its going to be like out on the field. what I do know is my life is going to be changed in a big way. I don’t think you can go on a journey like this and not be changed at least in some way. As the launch date creeps closer I find myself getting more and more excited wishing I was leaving tomorrow. I also get more and more nervous even scared of whats to come. It is hard going into the unknown. I do know this though, God knows what he is doing and I full heartedly trust that God places people and experiences in our life for a reason, we may not see the reasoning now but looking back I will see God all over this experience. Training camp is only in a few short weeks. I will be traveling to copperhill, Tn for about 10 days to meet my new family for 11 months. I am not sure really what to expect I have heard different things but I don’t want to place any expectations on it. I am sure it is going to be a blast and I can’t wait to meet my squad. Alot of people that I have talked to say that they wish they can do something like this. Maybe you are not called to go. Maybe it is not your time but, I am going it is my time to live for the Kingdom in a way that is much bigger than myslef. You can be apart of my journey, bringing the Gospel to 11 different countries to show them how much they are loved. God is giving me a rare opportunity to visit several different people groups to bring the Gospel to places that may have never heard who Jesus is. Don’t you want to be apart of this rare opportunity? I am refusing to sit around and wait for someone else to do what I was called to do! Will you do the same with me? Don’t sit around and wait for someone else to give financially to my mission. Don’t let $7202.50 stand in the way of God using me in mighty ways. I am so close to the full amount of $14800 that I can taste it!!
