I felt like I was back in elementary school at field day this past Friday.   It was childrens day here in Moldova so we hosted a field day.  We had  about 23 or so kids show up, we split them up into different teams.  I was a leader for the blue team.  Our cheer was, “Go big blue!”  I may or may have not stollen that cheer from somewhere HaHa!!  I had so much fun playing with the kids, learning their names and loving on them.  This is part of our ministry this month.  We go every day at 3pm to play with the children at the soccer field.
Saturday was such a great day!  We started the day by gonig to the church to shower in a western shower!  It was so nice after having to take a bucket bath all week.  The Pastor’s wife works at a musem that has many artifacts from way back when and talks about the history of Moldova.  That was kind of interesting but you know me and History HaHa.
One of the coolest experiences that I have took part in while being here happened next.  We went to a nursing home to visit with the residents there.  As soon as we walked up and started introducing ourselves this one gentlemen started crying becuase he was so happy that we had come to visit them.  As soon as we walked up my spirit got very heavy, there was a lot of fear present in that nursing home.  After introducing ourselves we sang severaal songs which just heightend the presence of God.  Several residents were not able to come outside so we asked if we could go in and visit them and so we did.  We walked the halls praying for anything that was not of Jesus to be gone in Jesus name.  We went room to room visiting the residents praying for each of them as we were in the room.  At the end of our time we were standing in the courdoor of the home just praying and the heaviness that I felt coming in was gone.  CLP were freedom bringers that day, we were able to make a very heavy spirited place lighter.  We stood up against evil and commanded things that were not of Jesus to leave and they did.
One thing that I have learned while being on the race is that God has given me aouthority.  He has given me the Holy Spirit which gives me power to cast out things that are not of Jesus.  I have learned that I can command evil spirits away and they will leave in the name of Jesus.  Remember that if you have asked Jesus into your heart He promises you the Holy Spirit which is God.  Remember that you have been annointed and you have been given authority to stand up against evil.
