Hi! My name is Jaime and I am 23 years old. I was born in Oklahoma, and have lived in Kentucky for most of my life. I went to EKU for 3 years, where I was a Nursing major and decided thats not what I wanted to do anymore, so I am taking a break. I am currently working full time in an ER of a hospital here in Lexington. I will be leaving this job in August to go on the World Race. I have been a believer for about 4 years now and since I asked Jesus into my life He has turned my life around. He has recently been teaching me about my passion for missions. I have been to Senegal, Africa twice, which is were God really gave me a heart for international missions. I was so excited to hear about the World Race and have known about it for 2 years. I went with Campus Crusade for Christ to a winter confrence this past December, where one of the speakers said something that stuck with me and changed my life. He said, "You have to stop living in fear and start living by faith!" This really hit home with me because I have just been living in fear and not trusting God to take care of things. Now, I am trusting God on this journey around the world 🙂 I am so excited to see how God is going to use me and what he will teach me through this experience.
