Here is another incredible video of our month in Cambodia filmed and created by Brody Contarino. Our team just about went crazy when Brody first showed it to us! You don't realize how much you really invest in people and how much they influence you until you take the time to look back and reflect on all the times you had with them. It was amazing to see all the beautiful faces of many of the people we came in contact with throughout the month and we're able to live alongside of.
It's kind of like home videos… no one really gets how awesome they are unless it's your family. I know not everyone will understand what the people in these videos represent to us but at least you get to see them and get a feel for where we are and what we are doing!
Also, there are three other people in the video who are not on my team. We we're surprised at the beginning of the month that three of our contact's friends would be joining us for 15 days. At first, we we're all a little hesitant, wondering who the heck these people were, what they would be doing, and how our interactions with them would be. But then we met them and by the end of our first dinner together we knew we had just met some awesome friends! Jona, Tami, and Ike came back to visit the village they ministered to the year before. Ike and Tami work with YWAM and Jona is a friend who wanted to join them. They had done outreach in the village and fell in love with the children and people and wanted to come back and check up on everyone. Throughout the next couple of weeks we we're able to get to know one another and share our experiences, stories, and visions for the future with each other. It was definitely an unexpected blessing to our team and we are so thankful for their friendship.
