As fate would have it, I was presented with an opportunity to take advantage of both of these loves. The national animal of Thailand is Elephants and during my stay, I got to ride one!!! How cool is that! So I took the liberty of making a film (and when I say I made the film, I actually mean one of my besties, Andrea Wassink made a film) so you could be a part of the fun with me.
Now a few things you should know before you begin to watch. I took great advantage of my comedic license; meaning, I exaggerated a lot. When I say that we are deep in the jungle, what I actually meant is that the highway was a mere 20 feet away from us. And when I showed you that elephant butt…well that was real. No exaggeration there. It really is THAT BIG and rough too. One of the "things" to do when riding an elephant is to ride with your shoes off so you can feel their rough skin, just in case you ever find yourself in Thailand wanting to ride an elephant.
