Grettings loved ones, let’s take a journey (That’s the Snoop Dogg intro in Katy Perry’s California Girls song)
Currently in Phuket, Thailand waiting for a bus to take us to Penang, Malaysia. It shall be another long journey.
I have had several moments where I am like “I am in South East Asia right now”. I always said I wanted to travel and I knew I would like it, but it is weird to see it become reality. God knows the desires of your heart and makes them happen when you put Him first and seek His righteousness. Man, it has been an adventure.
As the team was on our way to the bus station to head out of Nong Khai, God was making some connections. The host that we stayed with (Sarisa) she came with us to the bus station and the homie Nick that we met on the street was our ride. One of your team members over heard Nick inviting Sarisa to dinner with his family. It was cool to see God work, He was developing a relationship where Sarisa can share her faith with another who has influenece in Nong Khai. How freaking cool. God is reconciling us back to Him.
Since then the team and I have been in Phuket. Living in cheap hostels, and eating a lot of 7/11 (You know because of the budget). God has been giving me this lesson of being interruptible. When Jesus heals the woman who has been bleeding and she touches His robe and she is healed, He stop and turns immediately towards her. Jesus was on His way to heal somebody else yet He allowed Himself to be interrupted to heal another. That has been on my heart being in Phuket. Allowing myself to let God interrupt me to do even more. I believe God interrupted the team with some cool people. We met some Canadians that joined us in walking about the city and we got to share what we are doing and talk about our mission. Honestly just dolong life with them for a bit, and before they left back home, they thanked us for what we were doing. It was interesting because they had different beliefs, it was cool being a stop among there journey, who knows what God is going to to do with that. Whatever He does, I know He is enough.
I have already had some incredible moments, but they don’t compare to just knowing Jesus.
John 17:3 “ And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. “
Right now He is showing me the world, but He is also showing me that knowing Him is better. To worship the Creator first, then I’ll be free to enjoy His creation and not the opposite. Let us learn to worship with our hearts and not just our lips, get to know Him. Love y’all! Thanks for all your support!
