This has been hands down the best year of my life. Jesus came into my Heart and I knew and felt like I was coming back to myself. It was quite literally like being woken up and born again. The more I discover who he is and who I am the more I find myself. World Race America has been going from place to place staying at different location, churches, doing all sorts of different odds and ends, while keeping Jesus on always. I have nothing more than I can say about World Race America except for the fact that it has changed my life. Learning about Christianity in America and how different places operate, how people see the church, and differ in ways. Different doctrines, Progressive, prosperity gospels, different world views, how diverse America really is. What to be true about deep theological questions. Coming back to America after doing 11 countries overseas was a overwhelming time, with discovering what America Christianity and church looked like. How to operate here is America with a new nature. God is faithful in searching my heart and me seeking him. People ask what’s my favorite place I’ve been this year, and honestly I have loved everywhere we went but, it truly is the people and relationships built. It’s been a beautiful year of coming to the realization that Christ is in me, and I am in Him. I would suggest World Race America to many, it’s been a beautiful year of discovering life!
Colossians 1:27
To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory.
Jesus sustains this earth and the next breath you breath, the author of Earth. The Christian life is the empowered life and a nature of him. He saves us from our sin and give us him. Jesus is the only one who can live the Christian life. You cannot, I cannot, no one can. I have come to the realization to stop trying and let his life live in me and through me. Jesus did not die to give us an new ethical way to live, he died to give us a new life.
Galatians 5:24
And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
If you die with Christ completely to the old nature of life, you can have him live through you. Does this mean God just throws your past sins under the rug? That’s the beauty of Grace and Jesus coming. He bore our identity of sin, which is death, to give us life which is him. He wants it all, all on the alter. He will transform your mind, will, and emotions. You will approve his will and enjoy it. We are born into a sinful nature and when your born again your life is his. You cannot fix yourself, it’s a core problem. You can look good on the outside, even presenting to be of God. Even religious activity can be rooted in sinful nature, God looks at the Heart. Christ has conquered sin and temptations in you. We are free, Christ has set us free. We need to sacrifice our lives completely to make his life known, we suffer to spread salvation. We need to do what Jesus did and take up our Cross with him. Embracing the new nature completely. Hope is absolutely certain, Jesus Christ is our only hope. If this life is all we have and see, that would be horrible. The world is broken. The eternal life is to know the Father. You do not need to fear anything. Your adversary has got to get through God the Father, then Jesus to get to you. There is no fear in the Kingdom. One day we will be complete in him, with him. We are not free from the law, we’re free for the law. He’s not improving life, he’s transforming life. Trying to please God is the flesh is as far off as atheism. I have discovered it is Christ who lives in you. He’s inviting us into the yoke with him and he wants to take your weighted load. Jesus gives us the ability to obey God. We can experience his Joy. Christ preaches the gospel through us, lives his righteousness life through us, the one who calls does. The more I get know Christ the more relaxed I become, I realize Christ in me is the one who lives.
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God.
We are Gods beloved, you need to realize that God loves you. A reputation standing before God is the only thing that matters. Not a reputation in front of man. God restored us to the original image resting in him. We need to trust him, every thought is a chance to trust him. He truly wants it all. Paul is my favorite in saying a light affliction is being stoned, beaten, shipwrecked, and completely persecuted in life. Suffering should drive us to the Cross! He is everything, today, tomorrow, and forever!
