When I was sitting on a couch in Amman, Jordan last year in November and I felt God speak to me and said “Your gonna learn to live like me in America.” I immediately felt peace flood my Heart! World Race America came to mind and it made sense. I was staring at my Bible in Armenia last year and it was like waking up from a bad dream. I was born again into God’s Family! All I did was believe and have faith in Jesus and my Life is forever changed. I knew I had to continue following him. After coming home to Green Bay after doing 11 countries in 11 months, I am blessed say that God is faithful! I prayed for community in Green Bay while in Jordan, and God provided an abundance. I am part of 3 bible studies, a church, discipled good pastor, and was a new life in Green Bay. Most things were the same but, I was different. I left for World Race America and I took a greyhound bus to Indiana to see my friend Aaron before I start. I visit him and I could feel I’m entering a new season. My friend Lauren, one of the girls I traveled most of the year with picked me up and we drove down to North Carolina. We meet the people we are traveling with and on World Race America. I felt a heavier presence that I was gonna be taken for whole different journey this year. Traveling with new people, new places, new dynamics and whole new season. We got to North Carolina and it was a beautiful missional community in the Smokey Mountains. We just meet up with the team there and we were leaving in two days. I loved the people there and took to the place well. I went for a hike in the morning and got up to the top of this mountain. I hit my knees and prayed that God would have his way with me this season of my life. I felt a presence of past mistakes being brought up and not knowing how to combat the thoughts of what I did. It’s was strange walking in complete freedom to having a guilty conscience. I didn’t know how to combat it. I walked down and I felt like I was crying out to God. We went to church the next day and then we were off to Delaware. We traveled in a white van. We named the van sheila. We got to Delaware and stayed with a lovely family. Robb and Elizabeth and they had us partnering with a place called Love inc. Love inc was such an incredible place! They help homeless and people in need. We did physical labor and talked with the residents that were there. The staff was incredible and we felt so welcomed at the place. We did bile studies with groups in the area. I traveled with 7 people, and we did things as a group. The World Race has a heart that goes first intimacy with God, community, and mission. We do things as a community. We are also being coached by coaches that live in the states. We have a mentor as well, and they are amazing people. Lots of wisdom, insight, and we were well taken care of. God started the year speaking to me about the Blood of Jesus. I was taking a deep dive into what the blood of Jesus did and does. Robb and Elizabeth owned a business that does therapeutic rehabilitation. It was good to be part of there everyday life. We meet an amazing woman named Kelsey that was a big encouragement to me. She helped serve with us at Love inc. She recently discovered plant Based Whole food eating and she cooked amazing food for us. She studied into the diet and that something that I loved to do. We also studied as a group and did a secret church with David Platt in different world views. I still go back over them, we all have faith in something. Delaware has a price of my Heart and I will always love that place!
