As I’ve been talking with a lot of people about my trip, one thing keeps coming up. What are you going to do on this trip? Honestly, I couldn’t tell you what we will do in these countries. The only thing I can say is that we are going to be partnering with ministry organizations already established in these countries and help any way we can.
I can tell you though why I picked this specific route to the 10/40 window. This route is an area of the world that lives on the least amount of money, the conditions aren’t always the greatest, and they have a need for Christians there. This is an area where there aren’t many Christians. Most of the countries we are going to are mostly made up of Hindus, Muslims, and non-religious people. But, that is not all the amount of missionaries and people working to spread the Gospel there are very scarce. It is an area of rich opportunity to show God’s love and help some of the least of these. This is one of the main reasons I decided to pick the 10/40 window route.
Another reason I decided this route was the amount of TV coverage it has gotten recently with the refugee crisis. I saw on the news all of these people dying for trying to protect themselves and their families. It was breaking my heart to see all the pain that was being caused, and I couldn’t stand idly by thinking it will get better without people going to help. So here I am going way out of my comfort zone wanting to help in any way I can to some of the neediest areas in the world.
I hope you’d consider partnering with me to help spread the Gospel in this area.
