Exciting things are happening in my life!! While I recently graduated from Ohio Christian University and started graduate school at the University of Dayton. That is not the most exciting part. I have committed to being a member of a missions team with the World Race on the Expedition 10/40 window team! The World Race is an 11-month trip going to 11 countries.
The 10/40 window is an area stretching from North Africa to Southeast Asia with a population of about 5 million people. This area is one of the least reached areas for the Gospel. This is one area that has been riddled with war, poverty, and disasters. The World Race partners with organizations in the countries and we will be doing ministry to help them in any way we can. This could include teaching English, helping build, and running camps. That is not all but only some of the many things that we could be doing. This is a unique ministry as a majority of the people in these countries have never heard of Christ before. As Matthew 28 says, “Go therefor and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” This is an exciting adventure to grow and share Christ’s Love to the world.
If you would have asked me just a few months ago I would have told you missions is not for me. I would do anything else but missions. God knowing that, had a great sense of humor and said I’m going to stretch you in ways you have never even imagined. So I had to come to terms with God’s plan for me and take a leap of faith.
God has placed it on my heart to be a part of this wonderful ministry and help in any way I can. To do so I need partners to come alongside me and support this ministry. The biggest area I will need partners in Prayer. Prayer, is one of the most powerful tools we have. Specifically, I need prayers of encouragement and that God will provide for this ministry. I will also need financial partners as this trip will cost $18,617. I’m asking as I take this huge leap of faith that would partner with me and together we can rejoice in helping the Kingdom of God. If you decide to give monthly or just one time. I truly thank you. Also please again the most important thing you can do is for God to bless this ministry in all ways.
