It’s been since December 2011 since I started fundraising for my trip. I signed up in November of 2011, going public a month after. I’ve held Facebook events, sold art pieces at my Church’s market, I’ve emailed, I’ve called, I’ve spoken at churches, I’ve put all that I have up for sale, selling almost all that I have. And now I’m so thankful to be able to say that I am fully funded. I’ve raised the full $15,500 that it takes to be on this trip, and I couldn’t have done it without you. You’ve risen the money, helped supported me financially, and doing so, changed the world. You’ve brought God’s kingdom to the nations, spreading His love to all corners of the globe. This is just a glimpse of the majestic image you’ve created. This is the small brick of the kingdom you’ve created. It couldn’t have happened without you. Thank you.
You made it possible for this missionary to say goodbye to his parents and embrace the world for the Gospel.

You made is possible to bring the Gospel to men imprisoned in Guatemala and lead them to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

You made it possible to bring hope, love, and fun to impoverish children in El Salvador who literally dig through the tons of trash to find food and clothing.

You made it possible to build water filters to rural villagers in Nicaragua who have no access to clean water.

You made it possible to share God’s love to countless slum kids in the Philippines.

You made it possible to send the men of my squad to Thailand, praying against the lustful stronghold that binds thousands of women in sex trafficking.

You made it possible to share the Gospel to the unreached Muslims in Malaysia, where it is illegal to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ.

You made it possible to love on the impoverish kids of Siem Reap, Cambodia with bath time!

You made it possible to share laughs, hugs, and smiles with orphans in Kenya.

You made it possible to bring slum kids of Uganda to camp as they learned about Jesus and had some fun exploring jungles and waterfalls!

You’re currently making it possible to safeguard, protect, and love on children who are at risk of getting HIV/AIDS in Swaziland.
And you’ve helped me, a broken, lonely, somewhat strange kid, to send him on a journey that will forever change his life, encountering God Himself, seeing the whole world, and finding out what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

With all that you’ve done so far, you still have one more month to see what God has to offer in South Africa. And until that time comes, you can be assured that you’ve brought change to this world. You’ve played a part of bringing God’s love and kingdom to the ends of the earth. For myself and all the ones you’ve impacted around the world, I say thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
May God bless you and grace be with you, always.
With all of my heart and utmost joy,
Your friendly missionary,
Jake.
