What a (not so average) day in my shoes looks like:

Wake up in my tent. It’s pretty cold and wet from the thunder storm that interrupted my sleep last night.

Start out the morning with community breakfast and afterwards worship time together.

The kitchen crew asked for volunteers to go to the market to buy food for the next day.
Shopping for 60 people in a foreign country is always a blast.

A view of the market.

Jenni and I teaming up in the grocery store.

Teammate wasn't feeling good and needed to quickly come back to base camp.
Off we go on a tuk-tuk.

Here at base camp. Lunch for the day.

Everyone gets back from the store and teams arrive from their ministry site.
Time for some soccer.

Dirty feet: aftermath of soccer.

After dinner, we have a spontaneous dance party.

Midnight snack run.

Movie night to end an unexpected day.
