Take a moment the next time your in class or at the store.
What do you hear? Does it sound like a bunch of things being said at once? It sure does to me, today I noticed something I never noticed before.
Before the test today I arrived about 10 minutes early to do a quick review.
When I was done I just sat there and listened to everyone talking. It would sometimes get really loud and sometimes really soft. It was like a roller coaster up and down, up and down.
I then was like this sounds a lot like the distractions we hear everyday.
Satan telling us all this stuff to only bring us down.
It sounded like a bunch of confusion like people trying to get you off your path with God.
It made no sense.
Let's look at Paslm 19:14
"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer"
The first part of that verse
"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight"
Everyday we face that "unwanted" chatter and satan telling us lies and trying to set us off course. Only listen to what God has to say and rely on his words for direction, never pay attention to the "unwanted" chatter.
The second part of the verse:
"O Lord my rock and my redeemer"
The relationship that I have with my God is as strong as a rock, his redeeming love has brought me back to the heart of worship. Let God be your rock, your foundation
Life before God is like "unwanted" Chatter a lot of confusion and distractions
Life after God is like an amazing master piece waiting to happen
He wants a relationship with you, he loves you, he cares about you.
Cut out all the "unwanted" chatter and begin piecing together that wonderful masterpiece
